When technology word comes in front of me the first thing which strikes my mind is 'Microsoft'. Well there is nothing new I can tell you about Microsoft, Microsoft has changed this world to great extent. As per you all know technology plays very important role in today's life, we can't even imagine our life without technology. Mobiles, Internet, TVs, Computers etc can we imagine our life without these things? The answer is no. The equation for me is very simple Technology is equals to Microsoft! I really can not think my life without Microsoft products. You just try to imagine what it would be if you have no Windows OS, no Microsoft Office, no Outlook, no MSN messenger, no Sky Drive, no Visual studio etc. This thinking even scares me. Microsoft has brought a revolution in the field of technology. Windows phone is the newest innovation of Microsoft. The phones are very handy and strong as well as something different from other devices.
Microsoft has impacted my life from my childhood only. I wasn't even aware of Microsoft when I used my first OS that is Windows 98. I got to know where there is Windows on computer, Microsoft has own that computer. I spent all my childhood by playing games, painting on paint and writing assignments on wordpad. Later, when I was using Windows NT, I got some little idea about Microsoft through the name 'Bill Gates'. There was an article about him in Times of India. After reading the article I become fan of Bill Gates and his dedication to technology. I have massive respect for that woodcutter's son now! The way he introduced MS-DOS in world and changed the definition of technology is very impressive. It was the major change in Computer world when Microsoft introduced Computers with GUI (Graphical User Interface). Seriously, almost more than 70% people don't know about Operating Systems rather than Windows. That's the biggest achievement Microsoft has ever got!
Microsoft product don't need any kind of Advertisement. The thing I love most about Microsoft is Sky Drive which lets you to have 7GB to 25GB of storage capacity! It's really the great feature Microsoft has given. Life has become really easy with Microsoft products. And Microsoft has given the biggest Software Library to the student through 'DreamSpark'. It's really good to have such things when you are a student. Microsoft is the topmost organization which cares for students. Microsoft is only an organization which has given so many benefits & platform to Students from different country through 'MSP Program (Microsoft Student Partner)', Microsoft Geek Idol, Microsoft Student Associates etc. I dont know how to thank Microsoft for all the genuine software which I am using free of cost from so many years through DreamSpark subscription. Also Microsoft has given me the opportunity to publish my app on App Market that too for free. The technology loves student like me are always eager to hear about Microsoft events. Microsoft always posts about different technology events (free of charge) which I always love to join. Steve Ballmer & Satya Nadella have contributed so much to make all this happen.
I am writing this blog for the selection process of Microsoft Student Associate. If I become Microsoft Student Associate, I will surely try to do the positive changes in society through innovations. The first thing I will do what is awareness of technology in people surrounding me. Only technology can bring people together, only technology can change people's mind. If people are enough educated to deal with newer technologies there would be no corruption, high literacy rate, social awareness among countries. So my primary focus would be letting people to use newer technologies which I would be having that time. Poor people can get idea where world is moving, it would be awesome to them to get different kinds of jobs with the use of technologies. My dream is to create employment for every citizen so there would be no beggars you would find in any country in world. And this dream would be fulfilled through the use of Technology only. If Microsoft gives me the opportunity to work with them it would be easier for me to get people around me closer to Microsoft. Because Microsoft is the only organization which is truly worried for betterment of society as per my thinking.Mr. Bill Gates is already doing so much for betterment poor people in India. He with his wife spends most of the time with people from rural side. I would do anything to join the cause. In Microsoft, there are so many Indians who are contributing their knowledge for technology. I would like to be there among those people So I could contribute with them. So getting an opportunity to work with Microsoft is seventh heaven for any student. I hope someday I would get that opportunity!
